Architectural carving
H.F. Millwork can help you with architectural detail scanning and reproduction in new and restoration projects. We can duplicate curved and carved molding, and fabricate handrail goosenecks and newels. Any type of column or post can be duplicated or produced from your drawings or original pieces, including fluted and twisted pieces. Relief carvings can be created from color or gray scale images with depths related to the image density.
For restoration projects we can fabricate new column bases and capitals to match existing ones. We can produce sections of columns to patch existing columns even if they are out of round.
